Cookie Policy
This Cookie Policy explains how Learning Time Digital Limited (Hong Kong Business Registration No. 79301879-000-12-25-4) uses cookies and similar technologies on our marketing website at
The Learning Time mobile app does not use cookies. This Policy is about the website only.
This Cookie Policy forms part of — and should be read together with — our Privacy Policy.
For Indonesian-resident users: the binding version of this Cookie Policy is published in Bahasa Indonesia at https://www.learningtime-id.com/pages/kebijakan-cookie, in accordance with Article 31 of Law No. 24 of 2009. The English version below is provided for reference.
1. What Cookies Are
A cookie is a small text file stored on your device when you visit a website. Cookies let the website recognise your device, remember preferences, and measure how the site is used. "Similar technologies" include local-storage entries and pixel tags, which we treat the same way.
Cookies are generally grouped by purpose:
- Strictly necessary — required for the site to function (e.g., to remember that you accepted the cookie banner).
- Analytics — help us understand how visitors use the site so we can improve it.
- Marketing / advertising — used to show targeted ads. We do not use these.
2. What Cookies We Use
| Name | Set by | Type | Purpose | Lifetime |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| cookie_consent | Learning Time | Strictly necessary | Remembers your cookie-banner choice so we don't ask again on every page | 12 months |
| ph_* (various) | PostHog | Analytics | Measures page views, sessions, and feature engagement. Pseudonymous only — no name, email, or child data is ever sent. | Up to 12 months |
We do not use cookies or similar technologies for: targeted advertising; profiling; tracking across third-party websites; or selling or sharing personal information.
3. Your Choices
3.1 Cookie Banner
On your first visit we show a cookie banner. You may:
- Accept all — enable analytics.
- Reject non-essential — only strictly-necessary cookies are set.
- Manage preferences — fine-grained control per category.
You can change your choice at any time by clicking "Cookie preferences" in the footer of every page.
3.2 Browser Controls
Most browsers let you block or delete cookies in their settings. If you block strictly-necessary cookies, some parts of the site may not work.
3.3 Global Privacy Control (GPC)
We honour the GPC signal where legally required (including for California residents). If your browser sends GPC, we treat it as an opt-out from any sharing or sale of personal information. Note that we do not sell or share personal information in the first place.
3.4 Do Not Track
Because there is no common industry standard for responding to "Do Not Track" browser signals beyond GPC, we do not act on them separately.
4. Retention and International Transfers
Cookies set by PostHog are processed in the United States (US Cloud). The transfer of data from your browser to PostHog is protected by the mechanisms described in Section 5 of the Privacy Policy (Standard Contractual Clauses).
5. Updates to This Cookie Policy
We may update this Cookie Policy when we add, remove, or change cookies. Material changes are announced on the website and take effect on the "Effective date" above. If a change adds new cookies requiring consent, we will request fresh consent via the cookie banner before those cookies are set.
